FREDERICK & SOPHIE pants are designed to fit a woman’s inner leg length of 78 cm, however the actual length of each pair of pants is dependent on their design and may vary.


Measure around your natural waist line, the narrowest part above your navel and below your ribcage.

Measure around the fullest part of your bust.

Measure around your hips at the widest point/fullest part below the navel.

Measure the distance from the top of your inside leg (at the crotch) to your ankle.

For each FREDERICK & SOPHIE pant, we take in consideration FREDERICK’s body measurements and inseam. Nevertheless, the actual length of each pair of pants is dependent on their design and may vary.


Measure around your natural waist line, the narrowest part above your navel and below your ribcage.

Measure around the chest and body at its fullest part: right under the armpits and shoulder blades, right across the nipples.

Hold the tape against the body tight enough so that it does not slip down, but not so tight that it restricts breathing. Make sure the tape is horizontal. Take a normal breath and measure.

Measure around your hips at the widest point/fullest part below the navel.

All orders are processed with the utmost care in our atelier in Berlin, Germany. We process and send orders during our main processing & shipping hours, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm CET (with the exception of German public holidays).

All orders are shipped from our atelier in Berlin, Germany. Once your package has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail containing courier information and your tracking number.

Please note that we cannot deliver to post office boxes. Please refer to the chart below for shipping methods as well as shipping costs and delivery times for your destination:

The posted shipping time frame is contingent upon credit card approval and may be delayed should we experience difficulties in obtaining authorization.

FREDERICK & SOPHIE insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. All orders are dispatched with ‘No Signature Required’ and may be left at a residence deemed safe by the delivery company. If you prefer to have your order shipped with ‘Signature Required’ please contact so that we may make arrangements.


Payment by Credit Card

At this time accepts the following credit cards: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS.

The order amount will be deposited on your card as a payment reservation until your order has either been sent (then the amount will be booked) or cancelled (then the payment reservation will be cancelled). You can save your credit card details in ‘MY ACCOUNT’ to expedite your payment process.

With Verisign and Trustwave guarding, our clients can feel confident using the highest E-Commerce Payment Protection. For your security you will always be asked to enter your CVV code at Checkout. Our Checkout uses only secure modes of communication, visualized by the Security Symbol at the bottom of your browser, as well as the “HTTPS” web address.

For our mutual security and fraud prevention, all orders made with a credit card are subject to authorization by We may ask for further details before an order is processed to ensure validity.

Payments, as well as refunds are invoiced in Euro (EUR).

Duties & Taxes

No additional taxes or customs duties are charged for products that are shipped within the European Union. The articles’ prices and shipping costs include VAT and are thus listed as gross prices. The following countries are members of the European Union: Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus (South Cyprus only).

Shipments outside the European Union are on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, no taxes or duties will be charged by FREDERICK & SOPHIE. This detail will be noted at Checkout and on the confirmation email sent once your order has been placed. As the recipient, you will be responsible and liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the non-EU country of delivery. Payment of these amounts might be necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.


With the exception of special request orders, you may return FREDERICK & SOPHIE products within 14 days after delivery. At this point only returns within the European Union are free of charge.

To return a product to us, please make sure that:

  • The items you return are in original condition – i.e., have not been worn, used, altered or washed.
  • Your items must be returned in the original packaging, including any boxes, hangers, garment bags, and other signature packaging materials.
  • Please contact to notify us of your return and to arrange for a RETURN FORM to be emailed to you.

Due to Merchandising Restrictions all returns must be shipped from the same country they were purchased from. We recommend using the service used for original delivery to return your items. Please note that FREDERICK & SOPHIE may not accept liability for any product returned to us.

Once your package reaches our atelier, please allow 3 to 7 business days for your return to be processed. Credit Card Refunds: Credit Card Companies vary in the time they take to restore the credit back to your account. The refund should appear on your credit card statement within two months of the return, at the latest.

Refunds are made in the same currency as the purchase. Potential losses due to currency fluctuations will not be refunded.

If your return does not meet the conditions listed, we will send you an e-mail with an explanation of our decision. Upon your request we then can send the package back to you. When your return has been accepted, your refund will be issued and you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

Shipping & handling costs will not be refunded.

A pre-order is the reservation of an item that is not yet available for sale, but will be soon. An estimated delivery window for each pre-order design is located on the respective product page.

When you pre-order a design, your credit card will be processed once the design ships.


Crafted by hand by one of Berlin’s oldest manufacturers of high-quality cardboard boxes (est. 1869), our FREDERICK & SOPHIE T-Shirt gift box is the perfect complement to your gift.

Soft high quality white paper was selected to cover our signature box. The embossed FREDERICK & SOPHIE logo in black adds an elegant note. If required, a hand written personalized message can be included.

Our signature box is available for €25. Due to their hand made nature, we reserve the right to limit the number of gift box requests per order or per customer.
